About 90% of all inventions in Germany are made by employees. Accordingly, every company that works on the development or advancement of products must deal with the Employee Inventions Act. The Employee Inventions Act uniquely regulates the treatment of employee inventions. It stipulates when an invention falls under the Act and under what conditions the rights to an invention can be transferred from the employee to the employer. The law ensures that employees receive appropriate compensation for their inventions, calculated according to official guidelines.<\/p>\n
